I have spent most of my life on an expedition to find myself. There has always been something tugging from inside trying to get me to search for that part of me which most closely resembled who I truly was. The skin I was living in seemed ill-fitting, and the older I got, the more constricting it felt. So, I packed my bags to discover a new place to live where I felt more whole, with my soul more integrated into the person I was.
This journey was more powerful and freeing than I ever imagined, even though there were times when I felt that I wouldn’t survive the sojourn. It has not always been easy, but along the way I have found myself. I feel more peaceful and clear than I have my entire life. I am aware that this journey will never end, but I now value the experience so much that I look forward to every step of the path. I can’t wait to see where it takes me next. Since the creative process had a huge impact on my own personal soul explorations, I realized that some of my experiences might also be valuable to other people seeking clarity in their own lives. I began using my explorations to help others examine their deepest selves. Excavate was born from these experiences.
I’ve spent the last 10 years shaping experiences for people to delve into their own heart and soul, so they can illuminate and uncover what resides there. I’ve seen this create acceptance for themselves and tolerance for others.
To date, I have created and led hundreds of workshops and creative explorations, and 10 distinct retreats, in various environments. All of them have been unbelievably rewarding for me, and I believe they have also been healing and empowering for the participants. Nothing would fulfill me more than being able to participate in bringing healing and empowerment to other people’s lives.
