Good Grief
Grief arrives in our lives in many forms. It is not always attached to a loss of life. There are innumerable faces that grief can wear. There is the death of a dream we had for our lives. There is the ending of a relationship. There is the moment when we realize that things are not going to turn out the way we hoped they would. There is the sadness of consequences for choices that were made. Whether or not we have experienced the death of someone we loved, we have all experienced loss.
“At the temple there is a poem called “Loss” carved into the stone. It has three words, but the poet has scratched them out. You cannot read loss, only feel it.”
– Arthur Golden
In this workshop, we will use the creative process to explore how we can begin to grieve the losses in our lives in a way that allows us to experience our feelings, and find possible healing by honoring the space that loss creates.
